Project photos / Deck & steps
Deck, steps and the route to the yard.
Two angles show a gray deck surface, dark railings and the stair opening: one from deck level and one looking down the steps.

Looking along the deck.
The overview shows the deck beside the house, with a projecting window wall at one end. A crosswise board line runs across the deck near that return, and the dark railings continue around the edge. The stair opening interrupts the railing on the yard side.

Following the stair opening.
The view from above looks down the steps to a landing, with railings around the turn. Alongside the opening, the deck boards and rail posts remain visible. These two angles show the connection between the deck surface and the route toward the yard.
Planning your own space
Questions to bring to the conversation.
- How would you want to move between the door, the deck and the yard?
- Where would furniture sit while leaving the walking route clear?
- Which deck and railing details would you want to discuss for your own space?
What would your deck need?
