The deck and seating area.
Long deck boards lead along the house toward the chairs beneath the pergola. A panel screen stands at the side of the seating area, while the other side opens toward the yard. The posts, screen and house wall give the sitting area its visible edges.
Where the deck meets the yard.
The front angle shows the broad steps at the deck edge. It also shows the deck surface alongside the house and the lower portions of the pergola posts. Looking at this angle alongside the overview makes the step position and the seating area easier to understand.
